Industrial Engineering Student UII Excels in PILMAPRES 2025

Zahid Anugrah Muzaffar Rana, a student of the Industrial Engineering Department, Faculty of Industrial Technology, Universitas Islam Indonesia , secured 4th place in the 2025 Outstanding Student Selection (PILMAPRES) at Universitas Islam Indonesia. The competition was held from February 2025 until the final round on March 17–18, 2025. More than 20 undergraduate students from various faculties across UII participated in the event. The selection process assessed students based on their outstanding achievements, SDG-based creative ideas, English presentation skills, and verification interviews. Zahid was the only representative from the Faculty of Industrial Technology in the competition. The final results were announced on May 10, 2025, and his achievement brought pride to the Faculty of Industrial Technology at UII.

According to Zahid, the selection process provided him with many valuable experiences. Throughout the competition, he had to prepare various documents and complete several assessment stages simultaneously. He compiled a portfolio of achievements, developed an SDG-based creative idea, and practiced for presentations and interviews. He also received extensive guidance from his academic supervisors. Their support helped him face each stage of the selection process with greater confidence.

A Student’s Journey to PILMAPRES

Through this achievement, Zahid hopes that other students will be encouraged to seize opportunities for growth and embrace new challenges.

“Be brave enough to try anything and never delay opportunities to compete while learning new things,” Zahid said.

This achievement is expected to inspire other Industrial Engineering Student UII representatives to continuously improve their competencies, develop creative ideas, and participate in academic and non-academic competitions at both national and international levels. In addition to bringing pride to the Industrial Engineering Department, this accomplishment reflects UII students’ commitment to developing their potential and making positive contributions to society.
