International Program in Industrial Engineering, UII provides international exposure to students from several universities abroad to build strong international networking. One of the international mobility activities is Double Degree Program. Currently, Double Degree Program is established between IP IE UII and The University of Gloucestershire (UoG) in the UK with the following field of study options :
- Industrial Control Engineering ( B.Eng & M.Eng)
- B.Eng: Industrial Control Engineering (B.Eng) (Bachelor of Engineering) | Undergraduate Degrees – University of Gloucestershire
Study an undergraduate degree in Industrial Control Engineering with a focus on automation technology, operation, engineering design, engineering management, pioneering approaches in this field, and how to apply them to solve real-world problems. - M.Eng: Industrial Control Engineering (M.Eng), University of Gloucestershire
Study a combined undergraduate and masters in industrial control engineering with a focus on the classical control system design to optimal, adaptive, and intelligent control systems, operation, engineering management, and pioneering approaches.
- B.Eng: Industrial Control Engineering (B.Eng) (Bachelor of Engineering) | Undergraduate Degrees – University of Gloucestershire
- Mechatronic Engineering (B.Eng & M.Eng)
- Mechatronics Engineering (B.Eng) (Bachelor of Engineering) | Undergraduate Degrees – University of Gloucestershire
Study an undergraduate degree in mechatronics engineering with a focus on mechatronics system theory, robotics, automation technology, operation, engineering design, engineering management, and pioneering approaches in this field. - Mechatronics Engineering (M.Eng), University of Gloucestershire
Study an undergraduate degree and masters in mechatronics engineering with a focus on mechatronics system theory, robotics, automation technology, operation, engineering design, engineering management, and pioneering approaches in this field.
- Mechatronics Engineering (B.Eng) (Bachelor of Engineering) | Undergraduate Degrees – University of Gloucestershire
International Program IE junior students (students who have completed 4 terms ) are eligible to apply to this program for level 5 entry at UoG. The prospective students must pass several preliminary requirements as the following :
- English Proficiency: International Program students should demonstrate and must provide evidence that they have attained a level of English equivalent to IELTS 6.0 overall (with a minimum of 5.5 in each component). Alternative acceptable English Language qualifications can be found at http://www.glos.ac.uk/international
- Complete the following courses: Calculus 1&2, Linear Algebra (Matrix&Vector), Mechanic (Engineering Mechanics), Introduction to Industrial Engineering, Physic 1&2, Physic Lab, Programming Logic,
Intelligent Systems, Computer Simulation, Product Design, System Modeling, Fundamental of Industrial Engineering Design, Materials Chemistry, English, Scientific Writing. - For the DOUBLE DEGREE program, students start at level 5 and finish at level 6 (Undergraduate Final Year). Then Double Degree program scheme is 2 + 2. It means the students will study for 2 years at IP IE UII and another 2 years at UoG UK.
- If the students are going to apply to the FAST TRACK program, then students have to complete level 7 (Postgraduate Year). This scheme allows students to have 2 + 2 + 1 year of study. It means the students will study for 2 years in IP IE UII, 2 years Undergraduate in UoG, and 1 year for Master Progam in UoG.
- For 4 years students will earn ST., B.Eng (Double Degree Program) or
- For 5 years, students will earn ST, B.Eng, M.Eng (Fast Track Program)
- The earned graduate degree titles are as the followings :
- Sarjana Teknik (ST) conffered by UII,
- B.Eng conferred by UoG from its DD Program
- M.Eng conferred by UoG from its Fast Track Program.
