The International Undergraduate Program in Industrial Engineering (IUP IE), Universitas Islam Indonesia proudly presents the Industrial Visits and Cultural Immersion Program as part IUP IE commitment to grab international exposure as a Globalization at Home.
Outstanding international students from Malaysia, Philippines, and Vietnam have been selected as the highly competitive IUP IE’s Scholarship awardees. They will fly to Indonesia, land, and be ready to explore the Department of Industrial Engineering campus accompanied by IUP IE student buddies, Yogyakarta city as one of the most gorgeous cities in Indonesia, several arts and handicraft industries, and immerse in Yogyakarta’s cultural heritages. For three days and two nights on August 3-4, 2022, the students will enjoy and carve unforgettable memories in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
The international students will craft and paint batik for their t-shirts at ARIMBI Batik Industry. Then, surfing traditional bamboo crafts in PT Dekor Asia Jayakarya, and blending their coffee beverages in a Coffee Industry would be the next incredible experience.
The Sultan’s Palace called it Kraton, and Prambanan Temple would be the next destination. Learning the traditional Javanese dance will be a stunning agenda. Indeed, the students can try a splurge shopping up at Malioboro road, hang out at Alun – Alun, and enjoy a cup of coffee “Joss”.
