Industrial Engineering UII Welcomes the 2026 New Students

The Industrial Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Industrial Technology, Universitas Islam Indonesia, held an Academic Orientation for the 2026 Cohort of New Students on Monday (14/9). Held at the Kahar Muzakir Auditorium, UII, the event provided an opportunity for new students to become familiar with the academic environment, faculty members, and various opportunities available throughout their studies in Industrial Engineering at UII. 

A Warm Welcome from the Head of the Study Program 

The event began with an opening by the MC, followed by a recitation of the Qur’an by a representative of the 2024 Industrial Engineering cohort. The event then continued with a warm welcome from the Head of the Undergraduate Industrial Engineering Study Program, Dr. Sri Indrawati, S.T., M.Eng., to the new students of the 2026 cohort. The atmosphere became even more welcoming as she introduced the students to the faculty members of the Industrial Engineering Study Program, who will accompany and support them throughout their academic journey. 

Academic Overview: Undergraduate and Graduate Programs

 

Moving into the main session, Dr. Harwati, S.T., M.T., Secretary of the Undergraduate Industrial Engineering Study Program. She introduced the various graduation schemes, collaborations, and facilities available at Industrial Engineering UII. The session gave students an overview of the different pathways and opportunities they can take advantage of to grow and develop throughout their studies. 

The new students were also introduced to opportunities beyond the undergraduate level. Dr. Ir. Yuli Agusti Rochman, S.T., M.Eng., IPU., Head of the Graduate Industrial Engineering Study Program. He presented information about the Master’s Program, Fast Track, and Double Degree programs. These opportunities offered students a glimpse into the various ways they can continue to develop and pursue their academic journey at Industrial Engineering UII. 

Student Sharing Session 

After gaining valuable academic insights, the new students continued by exploring student life through an engaging sharing session. During this session, Industrial Engineering student representatives shared their experiences throughout their university journey. Through their stories, they introduced classroom experiences, organizational activities, competitions, and other activities shaping their university lives. As the session came to an end, the event concluded with a group photo capturing their togetherness.

The moment marked the beginning of a new chapter in their journey as UII students. Following the orientation, students gained insights into their academic journey and became familiar with UII’s Industrial Engineering community. With new experiences and perspectives, they are now ready to begin their journey as Industrial Engineering students.
