Degree Program (S1)

The Industrial Engineering Study Program has been established since 1982. Since 2003 until now it has received accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) with an A (best) rating and produced thousands of alumni who have worked in the private and government sectors. The Industrial Engineering Study Program curriculum is designed based on manufacturing systems and services that are adapted to the rapid development of information technology and globally influences human behavior and the industrial world.

The choice of manufacturing system as a learning model due to the type and nature of problems in manufacturing systems can provide a fairly clear / complete picture of the concepts and applications of each of the main pillars of industrial engineering (Production Engineering, Operational Science, Ergonomic / Human Factor Engineering). The service industry system can adopt the manufacturing industry system and complement learning models that do not yet exist in the manufacturing industry system. Based on this background, the manufacturing system is the object of discussion / learning model in the Industrial Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Industrial Technology, Indonesian Islamic University. The learning system of the Industrial Engineering Study Program refers to active learning supported by permanent or non-permanent lecturers who are mostly educated at S2 and S3 as well as magnificent and comfortable building facilities. The library as a supporter of the learning system has thousands of titles of books and journals and with optimal service facilities, open from morning to night. This facility is developed every year by a large collection of books, journals and facilities with an adequate budget.

The Industrial Engineering Study Program has 6 (six) professionally managed laboratories for practicum, research services (both lecturers and students) as well as training. Facilities and equipment are always developed every year through laboratory development funds and Tri Dharma Higher Education. The study period for Industrial Engineering students is planned to be completed in 4 to 4.5 years.
